TUG Co. for parents
The facts a parent actually wants, stated plainly. TUG Co. is a calm, single-player puzzle game made for a general audience.
No ads
TUG Co. shows no ads. There are no banner ads, no video ads between puzzles, and nothing that interrupts play to sell something.
No chat, no strangers
There is no chat, no friend list, no leaderboards, and no multiplayer. TUG Co. is a single-player game. Nobody can contact your child through it.
No personal data
The game has no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. It collects no personal information from anyone, adult or child. The only data that leaves the device is anonymous crash reports and, for purchases, the app store's receipt. The full detail is in the privacy policy, which is short enough to actually read.
Purchases, honestly
TUG Co. is free, and every one of its puzzles can be opened without paying real money. It sells packs of Gold, an in-game currency that is also earned by playing. Gold buys optional things: hints, skipping a puzzle, extra puzzle packs, and cosmetic looks for the game's characters. Every spend shows a confirmation first, and the game never pressures a purchase. Your device's parental purchase restrictions (Screen Time on iOS, Family Link on Android) apply as normal.
Calm by design
There are no timers, no lives, no fail states, and no daily-streak guilt. A missed day costs nothing. The game's world is a gentle, cartoon workplace with a small crew of helper critters. There is no violence and nothing scary.
Works offline
Every puzzle mode plays fully offline. A device in airplane mode, or with no data plan, can play everything: the campaign, the Daily puzzles, Practice, and hints.
Questions parents ask
Is TUG Co. appropriate for kids?
TUG Co. is a general-audience game, not a kids' app, but there is nothing in it a parent needs to worry about: no violence, no scary content, no chat, no ads, and no data collection. The puzzles reward patience and logical thinking.
Can my kid spend money in it?
Only through the app store's normal purchase flow, which your device's parental controls govern. Inside the game, every Gold spend shows a confirmation before it happens, and nothing required is behind a payment. If purchases are disabled on the device, nothing is lost: every puzzle still opens with Gold earned by playing.
Does it need internet?
No. Every puzzle mode plays fully offline. Only purchasing needs a connection.
Is it a brain game?
We make no brain-training claims. TUG Co. is a logic puzzle game: each puzzle asks you to read how rows are connected, plan a sequence, and carry it out. Whether that counts as exercise is between you and the puzzle.
